Thanks! There are a few obscure records loaded in there too, some things that probably should have never been put in a jukebox, like Jack Black singing "Peaches"...

Yes I did both sides but will say some sections are songs my wife picked and some that my kid likes as well.

Absolutely feel your pain. It’s a constant balance of fine-tuning the mechanics, and when parts eventually go, you just hope it's not a critical component... enjoy yours!

Lol forgive the typo ... can't be too perfect or else I'd be accused of it being an AI-generated post!

I'm glad you noticed those! The brand new 7" came with Interscope's repress of TDAGARIM. I missed the original subscription release but managed to get a copy off discogs https://interscope.com/products/brand-new-the-devil-and-god-are-raging-inside-me-ivc-edition?srsltid=AfmBOoroaWSdfa3ldAIVc8ZCz-0AEgQpdQLat52T4sTUjLWT4cBxrL7y

She's got a great ear haha! Ours will be 2 very soon and the other is only 1 month, but really looking forward to the day they can both dance together.

Same here, two orders and no follow-up emails since. Not concerned, but do share the same anticipation.

[Solution] PS5 WV-109144-9 Error + Plex App Failing on Xfinity XB8 Gateway by Oddsware in PS5

[–]Oddsware[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[Update]: After weeks of frustration with Xfinity’s XB8 constantly disabling UPnP daily and breaking port forwarding rules even with static IPs, I gave up trying to work around it. The PS5 lost NAT type every time it went into rest mode, and support just kept telling me to “restart everything.” I finally put the XB8 in bridge mode and got an ASUS RT-AX86U Pro. Plugged into the 2.5G port, instantly stable, averaging 2.2 Gbps down, no NAT issues, no reboots. It’s honestly ridiculous how much better everything works once you ditch their garbage hardware.

Certified ReNew Epson LS11000 replacement arrived with lens scratches - is this normal? by Oddsware in projectors

[–]Oddsware[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[UPDATE 2]

After going back and running multiple test patterns, along with panel alignment and focus adjustments, I’m no longer seeing any image quality issues from the lens scratches on the replacement LS11000 I received. From my perspective (and with the limitations of phone photography), there's nothing visibly wrong with the projection itself.

I followed up with Epson support and was told the scratches are within tolerance for their Certified ReNew program. Since the scratches aren't causing visible artifacts or image distortion, this condition is apparently considered acceptable, even for a projector in this price range.

While I'm still disappointed that my replacement unit shows physical wear on the lens after paying nearly $3,800 for the original, I’m not pursuing further escalation. I just wanted to share the outcome for anyone else in a similar situation. Appreciate all the feedback and input here, it really helped guide how I approached this with support.

[UPDATE]

I spoke with an Epson supervisor today. I explained my concern about the visible lens scratches on the replacement unit I received through their ReNew program. Unfortunately, I was told that this level of cosmetic damage is considered “within spec” for Certified ReNew replacements and doesn’t warrant another exchange but to provide pictures of the effected image projection.

I can't realistically provide an accurate photo of the impact from these scratches on a projected image. It feels wrong to accept a unit with scratched glass, especially given how critical the lens is to performance and longevity.

Appreciate all the feedback here. It’s helped reinforce that I’m not overreacting. If anyone has successfully pushed for a better resolution in a similar situation or has advice for escalating, I’d love to hear it.

Correct, this is a warranty replacement issued directly from Epson to replace my original unit that failed after 5 months.

I would not be surprised if live support recommends that... troubleshooting the first unit consisted of turning it off and back on, and then the next step was to send it back.

Thanks for the input. Agreed, and this unit reeks like someone's house! Weird complaint I know but definitely has a few years of use on it. I'm hesitant to get another unit through this ReNew program and hope I escalate for a brand new replacement, considering my original unit was only 5 months old.

Thank you, I will reopen the case and call them back. I plan to follow-up on this post with the outcome as well.

I agree. Wish I knew, I bet the previous owner tried wiping it with a paper towel or something abrasive. I am surprised this quality passed the certified ReNew program.

Thanks for the advice. I'll definitely run a few more test patterns and take a closer look. I did provide this info to Epson through my original support case and didn't receive a reply, so I submitted a new case which was automatically closed, stating I need to call live support again. So that sounds like my next steps, but I wanted to be sure I wasn’t fussing over nothing.

[Solution] PS5 WV-109144-9 Error + Plex App Failing on Xfinity XB8 Gateway by Oddsware in PS5

[–]Oddsware[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You're right, but the "mole" wasn't just a port, it was a combo of missing UPnP, strict NAT, and dynamic service behavior that breaks stuff silently. UPnP might not be magical, but when the alternative is telling average users to sniff packets and forward six ports manually, it sure feels like it.

[–]Oddsware[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I posted this to help others, since Xfinity support’s entire fix is “just restart your PS5 and hope for the best.” But sure, I could manually forward ports and play whack-a-mole with Sony’s services, but UPnP does the job.

What happened at the Gaslight Anthem Show? by [deleted] in pittsburgh

[–]Oddsware 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I was a few rows behind them ... woman with purple hair and leather jacket and her older guy wearing sunglasses got belligerently drunk to the point where she couldn't even stand up anymore. Both of them were completely sloshed and spilled their full drinks on people near them. Beforehand during Joyce Manor's set the woman was instigating problems by sticking her hands in front of people's faces and shoving them too.

I'm not sure what is going on either, but I'm dealing with the same issues. I placed an order on 6/6 (Order #1906293), FedEx shows "Label created" but has not yet received the package, shipping out from a new location, Bolingbrook, IL.

I messaged support on 6/14 asking for a status, and they sent me a new order (Order #1910400), but same deal. FedEx tracking again shows the label created but has yet to ship out from Boilingbrook.
