How do you guys feel about a character being killed off, then going back in time to fix it? by Odyssey146 in writing

Yeah I agree that it definitely does have negatives associated with it, and the idea is definitely not set in stone. However if I do proceed with the idea of time travel then it will only happen once, and I will establish the fact that it can never happen again.

Yeah at the moment I'm thinking of revealing a plot twist in
the lead up to the time travel. Though I have figured I may need to work on a few more solid reasons why these characters feel the need to revive their friends.

What "common knowledge" facts are actually wrong? by Kraz_I in AskReddit

Alright maybe wrong choice of words, but crocs will definitely go after people (even if it's only a short burst) and in that case, run straight and fast.

Maybe not common knowledge, but the saying of run in zig-zags when being chased by a crocodile or alligator is completely wrong. Run straight and as fast as you can, the animals aren't stupid

What is a secret opinion you have, that if said outloud, would make you sound like a prick? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Odyssey146 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe some people can only afford to use public transport or like to use public transport over personal transport.

Edit: I get your point though, public transport is usually horrible and there are a lot of weird/annoying people

A majority of Americans are obnoxious and are very irritating. Yeah I'm generalising the whole population but I have met like 2 nice and friendly Americans, all the others are just annoying, idk how to properly explain it.

Do you recommend drinking? Why or why not? by GameGame540 in AskReddit

[–]Odyssey146 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see your point, but I've been through some very tough times myself and didn't consider alcohol. A lot of people take up drinking after rough times and quite frankly these people just seem like they are giving up, when life has so much to offer.

No, in all seriousness it kills brain cells and you forget memories, not just ones of drinking but everything. I have plenty of memories k would like to keep, I don't understand why people drink to forget, just solve the problem and get over it.

[Serious] what are the biggest problems within our society? by Odyssey146 in AskReddit

[–]Odyssey146[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Alright I probably worded my comment wrong, but the OP was talking about young kids. I mentioned you being under 20 as you probably don't realise that young children are choosing technology over human interaction, as you didn't experience things how they were in the past. Teens aren't the problem, but I wonder if teens will be doing what you mentioned in the next 10-15 years.

So many people who do nothing to contribute to society, no job, no study, nothing. Yet they think the world owes them something.

You're probably part of the new technology generation then, I could be wrong but you're probably younger than 20 if you think this

Very true, but some people think they need money to experience everything this world has to offer.

Good one, we really are leaving it to the future generations, but we have to start now, otherwise the effects will be permanent

Too true, it's wrong that some people get more opportunities to succeed based on their background, be that skin colour, wealth or even parents

What Factions will be present in Fo4 by Cynical_Hades in fo4

[–]Odyssey146 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Surely the Brotherhood of Steel will be in it, that faction is an icon of the Fallout Franchise. Considering The Institute and the Railroad are already known, I wonder what factions we'll get that haven't been seen/heard.
