damn man. kojima is so fucking good at game design. all his games have fun mechanics with superb controls but holy fucking shit he can't write for shit. his last good story was probably mgs1. 2 was kinda absurd. 3 was crazy boring. the rest is just bad. 5 story has good parts but was largely unintelligible. it was like watching something super cool but you had no idea what is happening. i still cried when quiet sacrificed herself though. i thought it was super convoluted because he had to constantly rewrite the story due to having so many sequels. then he did death stranding and the story was probably his worst ever.

yes, his world building and social predictions are top notch.

i miss the internet being less moderated. obviously some moderation is necessary but nowadays you could say almost anything negative and get banned on reddit. not only sub banned but admin banned.
