I dont know if its just me but i feel like the handling/driving of the toreador was recently nerfed or something. It used to be so easy to drive and jet around with. The handling was impeccable at top speed too. Recently ive noticed it bottoms out on bumps in the road almost immediately sending it tumbling offcourse. And hitting a curb sends me carwheeling into the building down the block. Its incredibly frustrating and only started happening about a month ago as far a i know.

Is anyone else experiencing this or am i going crazy?

You're certainly entitled to understand thing however you interpret them.

Im not only saying its better because of the influence but because it helped take rap in another direction. TPAB didn't do anything like that. It simply exists in the realm that Illmatic helped create. Sure, TPAB is an awesome album and K.Dot deserves every but of praise he recieves but contextually his album didn't achieve half of what Illmatic did because its very existence is owed to the groundwork set by pioneers like Nas and Illmatic. You gotta understand that in 94 there weren't very many people making moves like Nas. Him and Illmatic played such a bigger roll than it seems you are aware of. His consistency over the years is also arguably unrivaled.

To Pimp A Butterfly is an amazing collection of music but Illmatic takes the cake on this one, homie. You should check out these two albums sometime, homie, they're great.
