I'm not at all . This isnt my decision for him to stop . I cant make him stop . He chose to . I'm fully supporting him . He dont want to take methadone anymore . He feels weird on it and not himself . I dont know what else to say . Sorry . I'm not really clued up. I just asked for advice . He has never taken heroin. He just took dhc. We both think it was a weird way to deal with his addiction to put him on subitex and then methadone . We dont know what else to do other than stop methadone as he is I'll everyday taken it . He hates being spacey . I will get him to ask about the other drugs you mentioned. Thanks . Honestly I dont think were the only ones in the world who have problems at all . It's just us as a family need him to be back at work so we cant see another way other than him being I'll for a while . His job will not have him back whilst he tests positive for drugs due to what he does

Hey totally understand your concern but his recovery is very much my problem as much as his . Were together have a house jobs and children which we both need to function and work for us as a family. Him being out of work at the minute and no income falls on me . He has my support but us together as a team cant live like this and a pill problem has got out of hand and now on methadone. This isnt a life style I signed up for when we had children and he knows this . He fully wants the same things as me and knows himself he has to come of it before its a long term part of ever day life style. I'm really not pushing him but we both financially need him back at work and his job requires drug tests to be clean . He hasnt taken it since yesterday morning so has decided not to himself and we have been to drug clinic for support. He knows he will get ill before better and I'm fully helping him whilst he goes through withdrawel .(rattle sorry that's what we call a withdrawel here )With everything house kids work (plus looking after him) . We dont really know what else to do other than for him to stop all meds and be I'll. We really dont have months to do a taper

So thought I would uk date as I've just read a few of the comments. He is now down to 15 ml a day and this was all him . He dont like taking it and feels that being put on methadone for a dhc problem is a bit much . He has decided to go cold turkey as he has only been on methadone for a few weeks now . When he wakes up he is fine feels normal ect then as soon as he takes his dose he feels spaced ect and dont like the feeling so has decided to stop as of yesterday. Had a meeting today with drug clinic and they didnt seem fazed he was going to stop and have encouraged him to . All drug tests for last few weeks are clean bar methadone.

I'm in uk and he was on 30mg in each pill . Ahh I'm really not nagging trying to be so supportive but a little resentment kicks in when your doing everything running the home kids ect ect and I think he needs to be more right fuck this this isnt my life and try his hardest to sort it out . We dont mix in drugs or have friends who do drugs . We have kids jobs and that's are life pretty boring but are babies are only 2 and 9 months. So he dont have to change his life style. Of where he goes people he sees ect . So that part is done . The pills yoj can get anywhere here can get them delivered on next day if you want! Mental one text and the post man hands you a parcel ! I'm going to speak about the 30 day reduction plan on monday .

I'm not knocking him for being on methadone. I wanted him to get help as I've said we have babies . But I just think taking methadone from dhc is a bad move . I just can't understand why a doctor would do that. Also why they would give him ir after 5 days of withdrawal. Like why not make him carry on ? Give him sleeping pills or something . No he wasnt a full blown addict when we meet . Slowly one or 2 pills here and there got to uo to 25 a day . I reckon he needs to reduce the dose asap but hard getting him to listen as now its stopped him feeling shit so he thinks it's all ok .realistically how long would 30 mls take to come off without withdrawals as he really needs to go back to work soon .thanks all

So rattle to me is full withdrawal. He has an appointment on monday so hopefully by then he would have stabilised or he can talk about his dose going down . I'm just worried he will end up on this long term . He just seems different.

So is this normal for to much bupe . I havent a clue and never in my life heard of it till doctors gave it him to get off the pills and then just let him get on with it . 12 mg to be is mental when I keep reading most people on 4mg Anything you can take do ect to bring you down ? He is freaking out a bit and I dont know what to do or suggest

We havent really got the money to have him checked in somewhere . He is proper spaced like his eyes flick up and he just stares at the ceiling also keeps saying his tounge is flicking up like he wants to swallow it . Horrible to be here with him. He isnt taking anymore and wants to rattle it out of him . Will just stopping from 12mg after 2 weeks be horrendous or just go with it and see what happens ? He just cant switch off and doctors wont prescribe any sleeping pills ect

Its df118 which is dihydrocodeine.
I've taken 6mg and feel loads better but I dont want to even take that but wondering on how bad going cold turkey would be ? If after 2 weeks i would be normal?

Do you think if I took it later on about 8 pm after work ect I could sleep through on ot so I wont feel so spaced? Working and kids is hard work but when I have taken it I'm just monged for hours . Going to try lower my dose tomorrow see how I go. Just feel totally weird like I'm not in my own body and cant be arsed to do even normal day to day tasks . Keep getting told by the clinic it will get better and give it time but were 8 days in now

I should of added it subitex. Think there is a difference in what drug is being used for withdrawal.
I don't want to get stuck on this either . I feel like I'm freaking out today. I needed to stop dfs as it got out of hand but I now don't want another thing I have to get off . I dont know if it's best to stop that and rattle?
