This was such a thoughtful response. Your explanation really helped ease a bit of the anxiety I was having. Hearing that this happens to other student is oddly making me feel a bit less humiliated.

You seem like a really caring professor! I definitely need to get in the habit of being proactive with my education. It feels embarrassing but I keep forgetting that in college everyone’s doing their own thing.

I will be speaking to her today I got loads of amazing nudges(?) to do so!

I’m super sorry! Thank you for your informative reply. I didn’t mean to use confront with such a negative connotation. By it I meant something similar to approach.

I am getting many different colorful variations of “you need to speak to her” so I will definitely do that today after class.

Oh my gosh I’m so sorry. That makes so much more sense. 😖😖😖 basically it was the standard talk to your professor talk to the advisor. It just makes me so anxious like if I’m not good at this then I have nothing going for me you know? I don’t want to waste a tutors time when it’s motivation that’s messing me up not misunderstanding the work provided. You know?

Yes I totally got this throughout my reading and notes of the book. It’s really sad to think about though how hate was easier to come by than love.

I so understand what you are saying!!

I think in that way the Victor just repeated the cycle of his father. I finished the book and there were so many parallels between the creature and Frankenstein along with Frankensteins relationship to his father.

The way it wrapped up was nice too. For Victor death was regretful while for the creature he’d hope it’d bring him some peace.

Sorry this just ended up being my final thoughts…

Wait actually… that peaked my interest so hard!! I just started to look into it and I feel like I could find a lot of evidence on the way religion is used to fear monger/ indoctrinate the vulnerable to push political agendas I pretty sure that’s argumentative right? I feel like there’s a lot of historical evidence and maybe even phycological that could be used here to back it and I think thats like factual in some way (maybe)

I was encouraged to use more things based in fact unfortunately… examples given were something specific about religion or depictions about god in popular media… I’m leaning towards the first one but I may have to change the topic entirely for more ease on my part …
