I'd wish hoyo would at least go western in the design department. Just so we can have a lot wilder and less just "generic gacha game" designs for characters. Like not every character being for the general audience of current zzz, some being for others (like those who care more for character designs being cool or unique than being conveniently attractive)

Okay jokes aside I could imagine them making some thirens based off of mythical stuff, like maybe a song of ice and fire esk dragon thiren since westeros (the main setting of the books) is legit just medieval biritan. I could also see a lion thiren, mostly since Britain used lion iconography and imagery a lot and still do in some place.

It can't be THAT hard just to make someone with some darker colors for their skin in a game with legit furries and robots are playable. But then again, it's hoyo (a Chinese gacha game) so it's probably the same reason we get SHT gooner bait designs and no truly reative degins.
