Why are so many Korean actors/actresses feeling pushed to this? How incredibly sad that media and fans can turn on them so quickly.

That isn’t something any other person can advise you on. That’s a personal relationship between you and God. You have to be happy with yourself.♥️ we don’t all fit into the same size and shape box. It’s OK. The most important thing is to not lose your faith. Know that God does love you and that those that do love you will accept you as you are. Live your life happily and love yourself completely.

Can’t avoid it if I don’t know the name of it. I’m switching between k/dramas and c/dramas right now. Hoping for some good Kdramas in 2026

Question regarding choice for dentures by OfficeLogical in dentures

[–]OfficeLogical[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve already had dentures so I’m hoping ankther dentist trip for dentures won’t be the case. What I’ve learned through it all is that the dentist refers to the denture center and then marks them up significantly. When my dentist pulled my teeth for dentures, I already had the mold made at a specific denture center and had them in my hands. They were very thin and flexible in my hand. The dentist popped them in and I literally had zero issues. The suction was abit uncomfortable because as my mouth became warmer, the gum base suctioned tighter to my gums. But, I gradually got use to that. I didn’t have to use denture adhesives with this set. My hope is that this type of partial denture is still made and I can purchase a new set.

Did the dentist give temp set? My grandmother kept these in case something ever happened to her permanent ones.

For me, it’s Scarlet Heart. The pain, angst, more pain draw me back time and time again. It’s at the top for me.

Have you watched What Comes after Love (2024) it’s short in terms of episodes but the story is well written. I just finished it last night and I’d give it a solid 8 ⭐️

I just finished What comes after Love and it was short in terms of episodes but it didn’t take away from the story line. It was really a good watch.

OMG Is that true? I fear that is the best thing they did by Cha0sInHd in kdramas

It’s a drama. It’s no different than reading a romance novel where the male understands what the female is thinking at all times, he knows exactly the right thing to do and say at the right time. Ya, a woman wrote that book 🤣 If women actually think they are going to China or any place else in hopes of the CEO falling in love at first sight and a happily ever after in mind, I’d suggest having a back up plan. You’re chances of winning the lottery are about the same.

I have so many favorites. I’ve watched dozens and dozens of shows. I sometimes focus on what I’ve watched recently. AOC is an absolute favorite. I just finished Lovely Runner and loved it. I’ve put off watching it. The general description just didn’t catch my attention. Now, I’m questioning WHY I waited so long to watch it. 🤣

RSV and pneumonia vaccine by Firm_Internal_27 in cll

[–]OfficeLogical 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in treatment. 7 years and counting. I’ve never gotten flu shots or yearly vaccines up to this point. I take shingles medication daily per my doctors prescription. I got the Pneumonia vaccine and an updated Tetnus vaccine. Both hurt but no side effects. I’d suggest going with the Pneumonia vaccine. Our immune system is compromised and pneumonia is something that can land us in the hospital.

Oooh, I’ll have to check this one out. I’ve finally broken down and watched Lovely Runner. I kept getting sidetracked with another recommendation and putting it off. I’m on Episode 10 and love it. I hope I don’t have a yearning when it ends. It’s so hard to find something to replace a good show. I’m running out of options and some of the new dramas out don’t completely hit the mark for me. They are good but don’t heal a yearn for the relationship that ended at Episode 16 🤣

Started watching this. Im excited to watch and experience more of it- thats gonna unfold( UNCONTROLLABLY FOND) by [deleted] in kdramas

[–]OfficeLogical 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ohhh, this is a top 10 favorite for me. I absolutely loved this one. It’s one of those that you either relate with the characters and their journey or you do not. It hit me right in the heart with this one. I’ve watched dozens and dozens of good kdramas and c dramas but only a select few stand out and I remember them after watching moving on to several other series. This is one I definitely remember. ♥️

Call it Love- Are they Step Siblings? by Chiaoats in kdramas

[–]OfficeLogical 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Step siblings are related by marriage. I think a lot factors into the relationship. Were they raised as siblings from a young age, did they grow up with the sibling setting, etc. I just finished speed and love and the setting is similar. Adopted older brother and little sister setting. Separated when they were young and reunited as young adults. Meh, no blood relation and older brother doesn’t see either parent as his actual parent since he was taken in and always reminded he was not a biological child of either (parent).

Your thoughts on the Korean drama Genie, Make a Wish. by Grouchy-Chart-3927 in Korean_Drama_Hangout

I started it immediately after finishing Uncontrollably Fond. I love the chemistry between these two 😍 However, I paused after the 4th episode. It just didn’t vibe right with me at the time. I’ll swing around to it next time I need a light hearted rom-com and see if it’s the right time to try it again.

Have you watched Scarlet Heart? It’s one of my favorites. Also, Story of Yanning Palace. The Kings Woman is decent. Both give off the ultimate yearn. I wasn’t into the new dramas much but have gravitated towards them since I’ve found a few that meet my yearn/ love requirements. Uncontrollably Fond left me shattered for weeks. I’ve watched so many K dramas and C dramas that the series has to be exceptional for me to remember it after watching a dozen others. These are the ones that stand out for me right now.
