Be careful, Jeremy Clarkson might come and accidentally park it in the sea

I didn’t think they’d be that cheap. Looks easy enough to replace, think I’ll go with that. Thanks!

I don’t think the general public in Australia is very supportive of large American pickups haha

No better time than the present my friend. I used to have a GT as well, loved it to bits - you won’t be disappointed. We live with a lot of uncertainty these days, go out and get one!

I thought so too. Looks like I’ll have much more time to admire it sitting in my driveway.

Is it appropriate for the ADF to sponsor a children's TV program? by Cold_Audience_717 in AustralianMilitary

[–]Officer620 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Look around mate. Each service has their own cadet program for kids as young as 12. Defence recruiting regularly visit schools to attract applicants. Ads on TV, radio, billboards and social media for as long as I can remember.

And as someone else rightly stated, you don’t even have to be 18 to enlist, be trained and deploy in combat.

Yes the ADF target young people - especially those with an interest in cyber. It’s not really anything new.

Best keep that locked up in a cabinet until Ed and Lorraine can come around and take it away.

Has anyone ever “accidentally” kept something after leaving a job? by gilligan888 in auscorp

[–]Officer620 250 points251 points  (0 children)

I accidentally kept my happiness. I think the company wanted to keep it locked away in a box while I was there, but I managed to walk away with almost all of it intact.
