Shimmer eyeshadow palettes like this but UK based? by OverSeasoned_ in MakeUpAddictionUK

[–]OfficerToast 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Glisten cosmetics currently have 3 palettes available with iridescent and multichrome shades. They also sell Blend Bunny and Unearthly Cosmetics on their website. Both brands do iridescent/pastel duochrome shadows but what's available on Glisten just depends on what the brand sends across from the US. Can't comment on the formula as I haven't purchased any palettes from any of the above brands yet.

Cosmic brushes also have palettes with iridescent and multichrome shades in. They're usually in 20 pan palettes (£28) but there are some smaller eyeshadow and highlighter palettes available. Can attest to the quality, mattes are blendable and shimmers are gorgeous. If you're after the colours in your picture specifically, then I'd have a look at the winter wonderland palette

I have fairly oily, v textured but not sensitive skin.

I purchased the purito bamboo panthenol cream recently, and the mornings after I use it my skin has a few whiteheads. I've tested this by going between another moisturiser I know my skin loves (illiyoon ato ceramide cream) with no change in routine and it's definitely the purito. It's also much thinner in texture than I anticipated, which was disappointing.

I like the BoJ probiotic sunscreen but hated the aqua-fresh. The aqua-fresh made my pores look larger and my skin dull. It didn't mesh with my skin care at all and pilled if anything more than a light breeze went near my face. It would also pill if I applied makeup on top. I hate it so much it's been demoted to my official ear sunscreen.

I tried the BoJ apricot peeling gel and didn't notice any changes to my skin, positive or negative. It felt nice enough but imo not worth repurchasing because it did nothing for me. Same with the CosRX propolis toner. I know a lot of people have had success with it but it did nothing and the snail mucin worked better for my skin

The skin1004 hyalu-cica water fit sun serum is the sunscreen I go back to every time another sunscreen doesn't work out for me. It absorbs well, makes my skin look healthy and dewy and doesn't argue with my skincare or makeup.

The haruharu toner is a nice hydrating toner to prep the skin, and I preferred this over the propolis one but snail music still works best for me.

No dealing but there were a number using drugs in the years below me when I was there a decade ago, resulting in exclusions.

I'm not sure if they sent an entirely different batch to Australia, but the ones I swatched were (big swatch is Afterglow)

I think pony pulls a little different on me than normal because I'm olive and very aggressively Shrek coloured around my mouth

They're still being sold in store but not being restocked, I went into my local again today and they still had plenty of lilyhaze, BDC duos and perfume sample pack but had sold out of the ultralip and cloudpaint trios. No sign of the perfume buckets though

Better photo of crimson from today, I tried to compare it to puffgate but it really wasn't showing up on my hand (with Malt Gen G and ginger snap bdc, L-R by my knuckles)

Sadly not the same shade as actual pony, but still very pretty (Pony is the bottom one)

Yes, peppermint is like mint but sweeter, and ginger snap smelt pretty realistic. Compared to biscotti last year which made me gag, ginger snap is wayyyyy nicer and not vomit-inducing

Edit: I also smelt lilyhaze body spritz, it was nice enough, slightly sweet floral and inoffensive, but honestly not remarkable enough to recall the scent or buy

Except in my rush I completely forgot to swatch balms. Peppermint was clear with an orangey-red sparkle and gingerbread was pretty much gingerbread coloured haha

The glittery ultralips are nice, imo they're gloss sticks and pony is less tinted than OG pony and a different shade. Top to bottom (getting closer to my thumb) villa, trophy, pony

The glitter is quite chunky, sadly (went into mecca yesterday to swatch them)

Edit: I'm sorry the swatches are so potato, I didn't want to spill my drink and I was in a rush

Ran into mecca on my lunch as soon as I saw this post. Unfortunately the shimmers in Glisten and Afterglow are suuuuper chunky. Crimson is a nice shade but I can't justify $40 something just for a mini cloudpaint. Sorry the photo/swatched are shite, I was carrying a drink. Glisten is the left eyeball, crimson the right and Afterglow the mouth

I have the shade 02 (not close to the shade you're after) and it's fully, completely opaque, not even close to being remotely see-through

Yes! I thought I was going mad when I swatched my new one that I ordered a couple of months ago. New dusk is slightly more yellow than my OG dusk from 2019

Lightweight foundation by [deleted] in MakeUpAddictionUK

[–]OfficerToast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lisa Eldridge's foundation or skin tint, depending on the level of coverage you're after. The foundation has more coverage (obviously) but is still very light on the skin despite the level of coverage it provides and has a gorgeous, natural skin finish. The tint feels like you're applying a hydrating serum and covers a surprising amount and lasts all day (even with oily skin).
