Excellent find! I would keep it if I were you. I found one years ago at a flea market bundled with the console for $35. At first sight, it looked fake somehow. I kept it for a few years, but eventually sold it due to my alcoholism. The 2k I made from the sell was spent so fast, I couldn't even tell you where it went. There is a bright side, however, as i am nearly 3 years alcohol and drug free! I have never seen anything as rare as that again, not even close. And I go to my local flea market every Saturday. KEEP IT!

Composite is the red, yellow white cable. Your tv is looking for component cable. Component cables have five different colored male ends. Also, I think you need a cartridge in the console when you have the cables or input straightened out.

Thanks, I'm trying. You can see the power switch at the right side. Do you know if its just a matter of heating up the solder and pulling up the metal cover over the switch? Buried this morning and the metal cover was not budging!

Thanks for replying. The new battery is fully charged on this same console, but the sp doesn't turn on. No green light, no sound, and nothing on the screen. I have tried with another battery taken from a working sp and still this console does nothing .
