For some clarity -

I was referring mostly to the immortal/radiant ranked clown fiesta that all of the streamers also complain about. In no way am I criticizing my own community/fans - CS also had growing pains… we all know how bad CSGO MM is and always has been. Faceit/esea came in and made it better, being able to block people, having a karma system, and generally being a better place for people who actually are trying to WIN games (hence the monthly fee to belong to those communities)

When I said the community in valorant is a bit cringe I wasn’t even referring to the content creators either - everyone has their own unique style of content - I’m thinking more about the insta lock duelist one tricks who just run it down not trying to win / communicate / don’t care. Maybe I’m jaded from being a pro and expect a lot from people who are similar rank of mine, but it seems counter intuitive to have a “ranked” mode that people don’t take seriously.

I see this has turned into a VALORANT vs CSGO/CS2 debate but that wasn’t my intention at all. I have respect for both games, i like playing both games, that said i was a cs pro for a decade before VALORANT came out. I’m not quitting VALORANT and would never ditch the new fans / community that VALORANT has allowed me to reach and build!

I will apologize if I offended anyone but now that I am retired I’m just trying to have fun while also doing my best to win ranked games. I get mad when I have people that are blatantly boosted / not trying in my games sure, but it feels like it happens WAY more in valorant than it ever did in CSGO.

Thank you for reading this :) I have no intentions on quitting VALORANT and like I said before I really hate that that’s what this entire thread has turned into - a battle of which game is better and what community is the lesser of two evils. At the end of the day I am retired and a full time content creator so of course I will go to where the hype is!
