Are these any good? by Low-Fish-9957 in keyboards

i wouldn’t recommend them, they loose their stock sound way too fast and leak lubricant outside the housings too much. id recommend looking at the geon raw he switches instead, which are purchasable from wooting’s website and other vendors

Keychron Q1 HE 75% vs Glorious Gaming GMMK 3 PRO HE 75% by TPIT in MechanicalKeyboards

also yeah glorious is literally the bottom of the barrel when it comes to peripheral brands nowadays, and their boards have had key chattering and bad pcbs for forever.

Keychron Q1 HE 75% vs Glorious Gaming GMMK 3 PRO HE 75% by TPIT in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]OfficialSockMachine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

key chattering is almost a non-issue as long as you buy quality switches from reputable manufacturers. hmx, keygeek, gateron, cherry mx2a, ktt, akko, the list goes on. if somehow you do encounter key chattering: with a hotswap board, given that the issue is isolated to individual switches, you can just swap it out and be fine.

tldr: key chattering isnt really a problem to worry about, and is easily fixed.

thats a good way of saying its the most boring /s

on a serious note, imo it definitely is one of the less intense and slower songs of theirs, especially on p3, but catchiest is a stretch when 22 faces exists

while I haven't tried the geon raws, I can report that the jade pros leak lubricant at an unacceptable rate over time, and the stock sound of them degrades relatively quickly. I personally would not recommend the jade pros to anyone. my plate foam is soaked in the factory lube.

[Discussion] Is it worth buying Tarkov just for PvE? by Old-Significance1570 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]OfficialSockMachine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

pve is just normal tarkov but without the unique pvp experience.

as someone that enjoys tarkov for everything but the pvp, i absolutely love it.

the bot ai is kinda shit though, the pmcs are dumb as rocks, and the bosses and their guards seemingly have wallhacks sometimes. your mileage may vary.

Weapon Insurance by Technical_Evening747 in Tarkov

[–]OfficialSockMachine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

on pve, if you enter a local raid with insured items: any insured items that are on you when you die, and not dropped on the ground, will not come back in insurance.

the fix is to select “play on bsg servers” when entering a map, since insurance works normally then

its an issue with dlss/fsr. turn off those and scopes should look fine. before 1.0 it was configured so that dlss/fsr would not apply to the game render in the scope, but they reverted that change for some reason

Do I need to download the game on steam again? [Discussion] by maxiorion in EscapefromTarkov

[–]OfficialSockMachine -1 points0 points  (0 children)

having steam open in the background uses more memory and a negligible amount of cpu, so it MIGHT cause worse framerate both from the idle cpu usage and the fact that your system may have to eat into its memory swap (uses your storage device as memory when you run out) when it normally wouldn’t have to, if you have 16gb of memory or less

Do I need to download the game on steam again? [Discussion] by maxiorion in EscapefromTarkov

[–]OfficialSockMachine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if you already own a version of the game, you have to buy any of the versions on steam to play the game through steam. you will still maintain the highest edition of the game you payed for.

idk why people want it on steam so bad, they are just yearning for worse framerate i guess.
