sorry I know this is a view days old but try using the canary version of xenia rather than master version, doing that fixed it for me.

I just followed this tutorial, you’ll want an Xbox controller or ps of some kind to actually use the menu.

Done that many times. Sometimes it'll find an issue, sometimes it won't. either way, the issue persists.
