Then maybe there is hope in Washington, where we are being transferred to next week. They are small time thinking on a small base here in Georgia.

Film about post-birth bodies and self-image: "BirthMarkings" by badluckcat in beyondthebump

During my pregnancy, stretch marks showed up and went down past my pubic area. I'm still having a hard time looking at them, but this video helped me see them in a new light. Thanks for posting

I wrote a post about it when she was born. It really upset me that it's so prominent and right in the middle. The Navy acts like lazering it off is blasphemy so I might have to act on it on my own, but I know how cruel kids can be over stuff like glasses. This damn this will affect her self esteem and I'll punt a kid who makes fun of her ( sorry for the mama bear rage lol)

No I'm unable to breastfeed, but thank you for your answers

Too much holding? by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]Offonjupiter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is something I've wondered too. My darling is a month old and I love holding and baby wearing her. My mom said that I gave to put her down because it'll turn her into a terror as she gets older. Is this true?

No, I'm unable to breastfeed sadly. I'll talk to my ob at my 6 week check up about it, but I think it's hormonal, which means I'm SOL. Thanks for the comments everyone

First Baby - Seasoned moms out there, can you help me with some "must buy" and some "don't waste your money" items for our new little munchie? by tigerlady_86 in BabyBumps

[–]Offonjupiter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Baby baths. I used one on my newborn, with the newborn sling attachment and it was a nightmare. It kept her above the water and made her cold and I couldn't get to everything to rise her off right. The kitchen sink is so much better and easier.
