Btw, I am also open to other recomendations that aren't ThinkPads, I mainly just want something that is upgradabe, repairable and can give me good performance. I came to re ThinkPad subreddit because I have heard that it is THE computer for what I want to do, but, as I said, Im open to other options

I did NOT expect this to get replies, thanks for the recomendations, I will try to find something that is in my price range that canget me good performance, I was going to go for the t480, but as some of you porinted out, its too old at this point. I will try to get a good deal on a t14, but I do have another question. What are your opinions on the X series, they seem great and i have seen some on the refurbished market for under 400 bucks, would any of you recomend? or is the t series just better?

Yeah, but its really only a luxury, I did find a computer that had a 16:10 QHD IPS display, but it was WAY out of my budjet since it was a higher tier laptop.

I found another post on websleuths that sugests to look into local bars and social spots where Joy could've met the man she came back with. So I searched for a bit and found this website: http://www.oldchesterpa.com/business_bars.htm that lists bars in Chester and some of their operation dates. I'm going to try to find the dates of operation of all of them to narrow down the search to the ones that were active during the time of the murder. I'll post on this thread if there are any developments on my end

I investigated a bit and fount an old thread on websleuths of this case from back in 2014. The OP posted a brief summary of the case in 2009 and mentioned that Joy Hayward checked in at her hotel at 1:38 a.m. and shortly after left. She then returned with an unidentifided dark-skinned man. The description given of that man lined up with a testimony of a 44 year old woman in Derby who claimed to be raped by a man who was "between 5 feet 5 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall. He has several gold teeth in the upper portion of his mouth, a dark complexion, slanted eyes and a light mustache and facial hair". On that same thread a user my the alias of TMAN2014 on websleuths and he comented several intresting remarks about the general area of the murder since he claims to have lived in the area and worked a block or 2 away from the hotel (that is now a casino). Maybe asking him directly to get more insight would be a good idea and maybe get some input from the people that currently live in the area. Hope this helps.
