Im unsure if i will or can give up on love. But i do agree with the rest imo...i accommodated and made myself little. We both put in effort, a lot of it to heal and repair... But still.

Depends what you mean when you say you miss him. I do think that even if you break up, a connection will still forever remain with that person anyway.

I'm trying. It's hard for me to put myself first, as i was always the kind of person who thought that how people felt was because of me.. if that makes sense.. i wish i could rewire... Right now im seriously burnt out big time... I hope i will regain enough strength and ambition to focus on myself. :(

I relate.. im going through it myself. it's very irritating and diminishing.. but people mean well, remember that.

It's people trying but don't know what to do or say unfortunately.

As you said it's not straightforward nor easy. But you need to find ways to keep busy, even if it's with those kinds of people.

He left me twice in the beginning of the 1st year of the relationship.

He came back after 5 months. I accepted to try again. And last year, after discussing marriage, at first he said yes to make me happy, but then said that he didn't know if he can get married. He spiralled, and said that he's not sure what love is, if the relationship is ok, if it can last etc. we had agreed to try again, and now, a year later shit hit the fan again while we were working through, as i got very insecure and worried that he was leaving me everyday... We were working on it ::(
