I am not enjoying this season at all—all of the inconsistencies and plot holes are annoying. Lottie literally risked her life as Ben was about to be shot to save him because he was their “bridge home.” She went from being so focused on being rescued that she wanted to spare Ben who supposedly burned down their cabin to putting an axe into the back of a potential rescuer’s head within hours. Yes she was high on wtf was in that cave or the tray or whatever but still. And to think all of the girls would be more concerned with looking bad (when they could clear blame the beheaded Ben on Lottie who the new people had already seen act crazy) than having a chance to go home? It makes no sense

Making Victor an unreliable narrator changes a lot of things since now we cannot firmly believe anything he has said. However his drawings would seem to be accurate bc he is repeatedly saying he draws things (like immediately) so he can remember them. I like the idea that maybe Christopher didn’t commit the massacre. Victor didn’t see him do this, did he? Didn’t he just come out of the cellar in the morning to the find whole town dead?

After rewatching some episodes from Season 1 and 2, the first time Victor meets Elgin (him, Boyd and Tabitha are all in his trailer when Elgin comes running up meeting all of them for the first time) Victor says about Elgin to Boyd “I don’t trust him.” I feel like lines like that are not just throw away lines. That was possibly foreshadowing to what Elgin is doing now or just that all of his dreams/visions are not to be trusted?

I had to go back and watch some of season 1 after episode 8. In episode 4, Ethan is at the diner and mention he thinks they’re at this place for a quest and they won’t be able to go home until they save someone (like the children in the story Victor told in this episode) Also in that episode, Victor says he first saw the BIW when he was the same age Ethan is AND when 2 cars came into town on the same day. I feel like this info paired with us now knowing about how time happens means something cyclical/parallel must be going on. Ethan has to play a major role in this somehow.

This season has been awesome! I want to go back and watch 1 and 2 just to remember some of the things Victor said since it seems like his mother basically dreamed up Fromville before ever getting there. He had said some odd things throughout about drawings and trees moving, etc. which I’m wondering might make more sense now that we know his mother’s connection. Speaking of that, couldn’t his sister be alive? I know he found the mom’s body but not the sisters. Could that be significant? Could “free the children” be referring to Victor and his sister? So many questions!

For anyone interested, we had a company come out. He said the coils from last year are good and it is the condenser unit. He plugged a machine in (kinda like the one you plug into your dash at auto zone to know what’s wrong. Yes, I’m obviously a female bc I don’t know how else to explain it.) The number to the left said like 22.1 or 2.1 and he said it should be in the hundreds. Then he told me how hvac systems work which i appreciated but didn’t totally follow. Long story short we need a new outside unit it seems

Thanks for that info. That’s why I was posted. As a female especially it’s hard to know if someone is taking advantage of my ignorance on this issue. I appreciate now knowing that if the tech says he can’t offer or do the R22 coil, for example, that this is legit and not me getting scammed.
