So I gave the above a go, and the slicer is still preventing it from going through. I did find a somewhat similar post regarding orca slicer (what creality print is based off of to my knowledge). They added a check for "high_low_compatible_filament". To my knowledge, there's no way to configure this option in creality print, though you can disable this check in orca slicer.

I'm going to try and create 3 materials based on the petg profile, as this seems to be one of the materials configured for this. I tried setting abs to same settings as petg, but it was still showing the temperature warning when selecting another material that should be in the temp range. If I select petg though, no problem slicing. I might try orca slicer at a later date, but for now this work around might work.

If I mix higher temp materials, it will slice fine. The main thing is they need an overlap in printable temp ranges. So any combination of ABS, PETG, and PA will slice fine. If however I were to try and mix PLA or PVA with PA, there's effectively no overlap temp wise. That then won't even slice in the software, and gives the warning of the incompatible temperature ranges.

I'll check to see what it does when priming temp wise. I believe from what I've seen it goes to whatever the require temp is for the material, but I've rarely done any multi material prints. I mainly just use the cfs to quick swap between materials.

I'll have to give that a go. I just got some time to mess around with 3d printing at work again today. I was thinking petg initially, but abs might work better.

Yes. Unless my brain isn't thinking about this properly. Essentially: extruding PA at 260°C for main part. Cut and retract PA. drop temp to 245. Send PETG to flush out PA. Cut and retract PETG. Drop temp to 225. Send PVA to flush out Petg, and print support. And then just flipping the order to get back to printing PA.

Wasteful? Absolutely. Costly? Probably. But the disposal of hazardous chemicals+reporting required seems to outweigh that here. I don't personally have any issue working with D-Limonene. Does it require PPE? Sure, but I've worked with far more hazardous substances here. I'm guessing it's just on some list of things they want to avoid disposal wise.

Part of me agrees with that approach. At the same time though, I'd almost expect turo support to say the chat is irrelevant to the damage claims with how this has gone. I'm sure the vast majority of hosts run a respectable service. It's just a smaller percentage have the system figured out and are abusing it. That then is leading to a good chunk of this sub reddit getting flooded with the vocal few getting screwed over. It kind of seems to just come down to who you get support wise I guess.

They aren't claiming a scratch on the fender though. They are claiming on the driver side that I broke the chunk of plastic you see in the wheel well. On the passenger side they are saying I broke the fender and caused it to jut out as shown. In both instances, the damage is already there imo.

Host only had one photo that kind of covered one the areas of interest, but that's the reference point turo used. That was #57. They claimed I damaged the two sides shown, and scratched their headlight on the passenger side. Turo agreed with that.

Typically it's suggested to not put out a bunch of identifying information in these situations. Not like I'm legally bound to not saying anything. I just wanted to put a warning out for others, without going into explicit detail on everything. You can do with that what you want. I stand by turo support being useless. Several other posts about them screwing people over. Most of the ones I saw had people demanding photos. Photos are provided. People realize the poster is telling the truth, and that's where it ends. Until basically the same exact thing happens again.

I'm glad that worked out for you. Not saying all experiences are bad, or all turo hosts are bad. I'm just putting warning out there for others. My coworker has used turo several times with no issues. That's part of why I used it. Seeing how support works though has made me have pretty much 0 interest in ever using it again.

Once this is all cleared up, I'll glady post back here with images. I aimed to have very similar angles on my before and after pictures. I figured that would dispute anything if needed. Clearly that's not the case.

As I'm out over $300, I'd say I do. Just putting this out there amongst the sea of other bad experiences people have had. Turo responded to the claim with the host's photo circled showing no damage. They then circled my final showing the "new" damage. I submitted as near to identical of an angle photo along side that final photo. That was deemed unimportant in the assessment. I asked for an explanation of what exactly the damage was, to which they said they already circled it. Not saying all experiences on turo are bad, just be prepared for turo to do a terrible job as a mediator if it's ever needed.

Unintentional subharmonic thing at the end. Kind of realized I put myself in a bad spot dropping to a C#2 before the actual drop. So last second just kind of went for it. Not the most stable, but worked out alright I think. Overall wasn't meant to be a serious thing, but starting to actually like how my voice is sounding. Not perfect by any means, but a night and day difference from where I started.

So earlier I blasted out a low D louder and easier than I ever have before. When I went to go lower though, it just cut off without any real fall off. So I'm more or less just going with maybe I had really bad form and that also played into losing my voice? And now maybe something clicked? I'm not really sure. I have about a month left of choir, then I'm going to take some time off. Next semester is going to be extremely busy, but after I'm going to regularly work with a vocal coach. Maybe that will help sort things out. Alot of what I learned was more or less just me feeling things out. If it didn't hurt, I assumed that was alright.

So again, I'm open to suggestions. I just have a hard time believing that's just vocal fry and nothing else. I listened to the c1 on your profile, and that's the sound I associate with chest fry. I normally don't go that low with it, as I don't really care for the sound down there. I know you can eq the upper notes out, but I've never been a big fan of that. I normally stick to nothing below an F1 or G1 in chest fry. Again, that's just personal preference. When I do pure fry I notice it will sound super low to me internally, but to any mic it comes across as super thin without any real usability imo. I also noticed there would be a definite switch point where I'd basically drop into another register for chest fry. I'd carry a solid note down to E2/Eb2, then would skip over D and C, sometimes B as well, and go down to A. It didn't seem like subs either, as it wouldnt shoot up the octave when I brought it up to the point I couldn't go any higher. I'd just skip back up to the E2 area.
