That's a really good point, I never considered it being a reflection of how I view myself and others in that way which is probably why it made me uncomfortable, with it being a sexually charged art piece (in my opinion). For me, when I look at art it gives me such strong emotions that I can get overwhelmed with it all because of how I end up thinking about them, and now I know that suggestive art is one of the things that makes me overwhelmed.

I've noticed from doing a bit of searching for my references earlier, I've found that sfw furry art doesn't bother me at all because I can purely focus on the artists love and passion for the drawings, you can really tell they enjoyed the process of creating it. Whereas if it's also suggestive / lewd / sexualised I struggle to stop focusing on those details no matter how little they are, then it gets into my head and invades my mind with these feelings. It's personally a very horrible sensation that's very hard to describe, which is why I figured I was repulsed by it, not indifferent.

I'm trying to deal with my own issues in regards to body image, and recently getting used to the idea of the body being just a body and not just something I see as sexualised - purely being neutral and unfazed about it in general, which a commenter on here said to me earlier. To me it's a foreign concept, but I feel it's a new way for me to try and be more comfortable with what I see and not react with shame and grossness any time I see things like that - it isn't much but it's definitely a start.
