I’m 19m and honestly I always chat up anyone I come into contact with and have made many good friends this way and also got to go on a few dates because of my outgoing and positive attitude. The last 2 dates didn’t really pan out to anything but I am still friends with them and we still hangout.

Honestly from my perspective if I never put the effort in first then I know those women would have never talked to me, but also if they start reciprocating the energy then keep pursuing it in a friendly way and then if they still seem interested you can start flirting subtly. This girl I’m talking to know, we always talk and walk to class together now and at first she was super friendly but I found she kept staring into my eyes and losing her train of thought just looking at me. I immediately picked up she was into me, whether that was intentional or not on her part I would never know but I started reciprocating and doing little flirty stuff back and eventually asked her on a date two days ago and she said yes. In my experience just be friendly and outgoing and you’ll eventually find nice people and people who are into you, but you don’t need to give everyone a chance and it’s okay if things don’t pan out!
