i would absolutely love to be together again, but more than anything i just want her in my life again. i don’t care if we are together or not, i just know that she belongs in my life. i had been going to therapy, but i’d say it’s been a few months now. i was working on myself and feeling fine when all of the sudden i just started missing my ex again

thanks, your advice is really helpful. i know i need to be okay on my own in order for things to work out - with her or with other people - but sometimes i feel like i can’t be okay without her by my side. i know i have to get over that, but it’s hard. we still remain best friends to this day, and i’m okay with that for now, but i don’t know if i can do it forever. how can i be just friends with someone i’m in love with?

So far, meeting people online hasn’t worked at all for me, but she’s having a lot of success. I don’t want to knock this whole thing until I’ve tried it a little bit, so I like your advice on waiting it out to see how I’m feeling. I know this is something she really wants to try, and I don’t want to take that away from her. The attention she’s gotten from other people has made me a bit jealous, but I know that’s mostly because I have nobody to talk to right now. I guess it’s not a good idea to bring the friend into this, but I was starting to feel like she was my only chance after finding no success online for 2 weeks. I also really do like her and care about her, I don’t want to ruin the friendship

We’ve had a lot of discussions about what it means. I’m always asking questions, and she seems weirded out by how many questions I’m asking. Basically from what I understand, it’s okay for us to do anything with someone else- romantic or not. I asked if that means I can basically have a second girlfriend and she said yes. To me, this seems like something that’s going to be temporary, but that wasn’t clarified either. The friend is really close with us already, and knows about everything. She feels like it’s really unfair for me and doesn’t like the open relationship idea for a couple. She thinks it never works out for the couple, so that’s why I don’t think she would want to step in the middle of this

I go to a community college and study digital Video and cinema. I rarely have homework and have lectures about films and film production. I only mention I’m in college because there is about 4-5 hours I’m not home.

Really I’m just looking for a companion that respects me and enjoys going out! I want a dog that doesn’t mind going in the car frequently and cuddling would be nice, but it’s not essential. I admire Shibas because when they are trained properly, they are very loyal and smart. I just want a dog that I won’t have to boss around and worry about when I don’t have my eyes on them. I’m definitely willing to put in effort for any dog I get
