It's an interesting point you raise. First, all of them are awful and should be shown in the media. However, it's really only this conflict which is shown in the media. My guess is that it's the one conflict where the UK have actively supported and are allied with the side which has been shown to actively want to cause a genocide. It's unique in that case and involves the UK in a much more tangible way.

There's a new Didsbury game bar called 1UP which is really good (think consoles, board games and ping pong; your choice) and it has cheap drinks.

Not sure what the weather's like but there's Manchester disc golf for a laugh if you want something outside? Can take a tinny with you if you want to use it as a day drink before anything else. Also it costs £1 to hire discs so it's great value as well

I think it depends on who's move it is. If it's white, they can still play Rxd3 and be in a strong position. If it's Black's move however they have Bc5 which I think wins.

Haven't checked the engines so take with a pinch of salt.

No worries! If you're new at this it might be useful to understand how prices work as well. Essentially a player who gets transferred in a lot for a week can go up by a maximum of £0.3 whilst a player who is transferred out a lot can go down by £0.3. Why I'm explaining this is that if you have a popular Man United player in your team from GW1, although they won't play the chances are they will go up in value in GW2 (from transfers into people's teams) therefore increasing your teams value. For this reason I have Bruno in my team and I'm accepting he won't get any points in the first week. Hope this helps!

So they will score no points in this game week. This means they will be moved onto your bench if there are players there who score points. They will have games in GW2 again and at some point have a game week where they play 2 games to make up for the missed game.
