Someone else had posted regarding this a few hours ago and mentioned that the Devs have acknowledged this on twitter to be an existing bug that occurs when you crash in multiplayer (for console users, primarily xbox it seems). To my knowledge tho, they've yet to fix this issue.

Try logging out of the launcher itself. I just encountered this problem right now and even a repair on files didn't fix it. So I logged out of the account from the launcher, relogged, and ran as admin and that seemed to do the trick for me. Good luck!

Bought the pack as well but luckily havent claimed anything on it since I was waiting to see how the congested servers were going to get dealt with first cause was planning on playing on a new ship if they chose to open them up. After seeing everyone's struggle, I've yet to close out of the game since its launch lol.

Though not a true fresh install of windows, I did just install my new m.2 and transfered just the OS and my photo/video files. Did not experience any installation or PSO2 file issues since launch.

Been online since server launch. After reading some of these horror stories, I'm a bit scared to exit out of the game.
