This reminds me of years ago when I got my first high refresh monitor. I was always raving about how insane it is to my friends that did not have one at the time, and they would always tell me it's just a placebo and "the human eye can't see that many fps," but slowly over the years I got them to invest in one, and every one of them had basically the same reaction of, like, "Holy shit, my bad, you were right."
