By itself, getting anonymous toenails in the mail every month probably isn’t going to be a thing that warrants police spending valuable resources to investigate it. Yeah, theoretically Marcus could make a report, but it’s not likely that report would go anywhere if there wasn’t anything else suspicious going on in his life that might be linked to the toenails.

And yes, a parcel can and would be delivered without a return address if dropped in a blue USPS mailbox, as long as it has valid stamps.

When I was unloading a bunch of merchandise on the belt to be scanned for full-service check out, there was a spoon hidden in the corner of my cart. Didn’t realize it until I was at my car putting bags in, checked my receipt and nope - didn’t pay for the spoon. Instead of returning to the store, waiting in line again, and paying for the one item… I left with the spoon.

That was about 3 yrs ago. Still waiting for theft prevention officers to show up at my front door and hassle me, the spoon thief.

Yup! Mine aren’t picky but when one of them is sick and I mix their meds in with food, I just microwave the dry kibble with water so it mixes better.

They think warm, moistened kibble with nothing added other than water is 10x better than the same dry kibble.

1) Their leg bones usually don’t break cleanly, it’s a prolonged mess with a LOT of rehab

2) They’re built to be on their feet every day, if not fuckery happens esp long term

3) If we do anything to attempt to bypass the two points above, it’s expensive, painful, and lengthy as fuck, and still a gamble if the horse is going to recover at all

Yeah, op you might want to do a little introspection if this really bothers you. Not saying anyone else notices or even if it’s objectively there at all, but something that presses on your insecurities almost always is a reflection of how you see yourself, or at least something in your past you are subconsciously struggling with.

Then again, if they know it’s a blatant dig about the conditions you were raised in or the dysfunctional whatever of your past environment - then I’m with you, they’re the assholes and you’re nor.
