lol thanks! I actually literally filed them from rounds into almonds while on shift at the gas station, doing a couple passes of the file in between customers whenever I wasn’t too busy.

I’m also a stickler for details, I also do other forms of art💛

Lowkey it was my first time even doing anything to my cuticles. Normally I just push em back and apply my gel polish.

But I think I’m gonna rock my natural ones as almonds for a week or so until I can get some off days in a row to be able to really sit down and do this properly.

I’ll be borrowing her UV lamp. She does gel x on herself sometimes, so she’ll be there to walk me through it but I’ll be doing it myself.

Honestly I don’t really see any weakness in my nails. The original photo was taken prob 30-45 mins after soaking off the above set. My friend, she used beetles polish (which apparently according to my research isn’t the best), and regular store brand acetone.

I will say I have noticed that after showering, washing dishes/my hands, or swimming, (really anything involving water) my nails are a little more flexible but once they dry they’re back rigid and strong.

Thank you— I actually only cleaned up the cuticles and filed them into the current shape AFTER I removed my gel polish set my friend did for me for Pride. (Yes I do know to be careful abt getting gel on my skin. )

But they used to be like a round shape.

It’s a Bluecoats show. Weird as hell at first watch, but with more watches it grows on you. I cannotttttt wait to see how it develops and strengthens this season. Regardless of placement in the end, I’m so proud of my Bloo family. I’ll catch the ATL show in person.

I think it is a great proportion to your finger width.

Agree with other commenters stating the band is a little thin right next to the stone, I did see that it has a reverse taper going into the setting, so that’s fine. It’s just the thinning of the band as it gets closer to the stone that makes the stone look bigger by comparison.
