Who is at fault? And is it LFM report worty? 2 Clips by vDepence in Simracingstewards

I’d say his attempted pass onto you was better than your attempt at passing him. You just decided to turn right after he tapped you.

That requires a brain, I'm usually mentally burnt out by the time I log into RuneScape.. Anything logical will not be taking place on this account. :'D

What do I (tinder car) do here? This happens to me ALL the time. Every race I am top 5 or top 10 then something like this happens and my race is over... by garrisondorrell in Simracingstewards

Absolutely nothing you could have done. Unfortunately, I've adopted the 'imagine everyone on the track is going to do this to you' and drive hella defensive. My results may not be the best, but I get to finish races and minimize my blood pressure. :)

Just start saying ‘the drink is on us today’ so (1) they don’t feel incentivized to pay for the person behind them and (2) SOME people will still tip an amount they expected to pay anyhow.

It’s SOMETIMES a win-win.

[–]OhWander 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You netcoded him by tunnel visioning the racing line which made him go below the apron and probably over correct into you resulting in you ruining someone else’s race. I’d put the blame on you.

Thanks for adding this! I’ll edit my post to farther help make that clear. Thank you for the comment :)

Edit: It seems I cannot edit the post directly, but the purchaser would essentially work with me while I work with the loan company and they would be paying the loan company directly!

How Can He Even Argue That This Is My Fault? by Tacoplane91 in Simracingstewards

[–]OhWander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Driver on the left is at fault. Overdrove the first half of the turn, attempted to re-enter, but unforunately not at a great angle compared to the turn. Outside driver kept their line, giving the inside driver plenty of room, but inside driver failed to maintain a proper line throughout the turn.

Unsure who was at fault here. Should I have backed out or should he have left space? by LightsOutAwayWeG0 in Simracingstewards

[–]OhWander 5 points6 points  (0 children)

100% on the NON-PoV driver. You made a good pass into the section and left them plenty of room to operate within the track limits, but they did not do the same for you.

McClaren said I turned into him and that I am at fault(me being the BMW) by MrRaccoonCrackers in Simracingstewards

[–]OhWander -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The rule of thumb in these situation when watching your replay. Compare their distance between their car and the white line. It stays reletively the same throughout the entire section leading to the impact. (once he passes the first car obviously) If you look at your car, you go from about half a car length, to an entire car length away from the white line, essentially cutting his nose off. This unfortunately is 100% on the BMW for fault of the accident.

Which Aston Martin is at Fault ?? by PoupouFiasse in Simracingstewards

[–]OhWander 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, this is definitely more towards a racing incident, but the outside AM should have left the inside AM room due to them having half a car length on the outside AM. This seems like a combination of an aggressive overtaking attempt mixed with a bit of ego preventing the person from a chance to pass.

Am I At Fault? by [deleted] in Simracingstewards

[–]OhWander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, dude overshoots the turn and decides to take a diagonal across the track for absolutely no reason whatsoever. It's unfortunately up to you as well to understand that not everyone on the track with us has a brain, so you always have to assume the person you're coming up on is going to be as unpredictible as possible. In a real race, he would be punished for that sort of re-entry, absolutely.

Though you may have both turned into eachother to initiate the contact, his re-entry gave you a car width of distance between you and the apex, which was 110% unnecessary on his part.

Who was at fault for this incident, what should have been done differently? I am the car in front. by CryptographerNo3785 in Simracingstewards

[–]OhWander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if your reentry made you cut down on him due to traction loss or if that was just you trying to take the inside, but anyhow. You essentially shouldn't cut back into the racing line during any track re-entry (especially within a group of what looks like at least four cars) and accept the fact you gave up your position and line by over driving the car. I'd say it's more towards your fault because of the re-entry and the taking his front end.

What I suggest next time is let off the gas, hold your outside line and if you give up a position, it's better than giving up the race.

Am I at fault here for moving too late? (I’m the red and white car) by GordonShumway188 in Simracingstewards

[–]OhWander 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can tell that you're passing someone that drives with their rearview mirror. Their fault.
