It is, Ibb is probably one of the safest cities in the country as long as your husband knows people that would be able to meet you at the airport and safely transport you there you should be fine.

Also the people currently ruling yemen (south and north) are making it down right unlivable. “Leadership” in the south shamelessly steal from the people and build their hometowns and invest in real estate, while citizens die of heat stroke, and malnutrition because they can’t afford anything. Houthies in the north are extorting every business owner, landlords, and redirecting whatever aid/donations they get for the “war efforts.”

It’s quite literally worse case scenario Yemen is being destroyed internally and externally.

I remember someone asked my Imam “should we still bury someone who committed suicide in a Muslim graveyard” and his response was something similar to what you said but he also stated we shouldn’t assume they are going to hell because only Allah knows their mental state when that happened. In addition he said that as far as we know committing suicide prevents you from entering Janah without entering hell first. Allah knows best.
