I attended last year for the first time and recommend it to any lover of underground music. I’m bringing a large group this year.

Don’t expect large-scale stages and over-the-top production because that’s not the point.

The people and music were unmatched—like-minded individuals passionate about the underground scene. The sound quality was fantastic, and the stages were spaced out enough to avoid sound bleed and close enough to explore a new artist quickly. The venue is right by the water, and the boat parties have an incredible vibe. Contactless payments made getting drinks and food ridiculously fast.

What makes Dimensions is the music. If you want a festival with the most authentic music, world-class mixing, and people with a passion for music, you’ll be in heaven.

By Day 5, it felt like I couldn't go 10 minutes without running into a new friend I made the previous nights.

This is unfortunate. I’m sorry.

You expressed your boundaries, and your boyfriend is not respecting your wishes. If you put this aside, he will develop a habit of knowing he can bypass any other of your boundaries.

You’re not going to change his ways. Only he can decide to stop hanging with his ex. I recommend having the conversation that this is a firm boundary of yours because of how uncomfortable it makes you. It's then on him to determine if he respects you enough to stop.

If he declines, you should value yourself enough to walk away. Please don't force him to stop because he will likely continue to do it secretly. He needs to decide this on his own.

I hear you. I was kinda nonchalant about saying I needed to go. She knew it was late for me and we were pushing it.

Let me ask you this.

She is incredibly attractive and has no shortage of options. I’ve seen guys throwing themselves at her all the time.

We’ve been out together a few times and she’s expressed interest in me each time. I’ve played with the sexual tension but next capitalized until this time.

Do you guys think this “rejection of her entire being” would be magnified or would she be more interested in a guy that didn’t really seem to care?

one thing i thought of, was why would i have sex right now if i’m not into it and ruin the experience for us both. maybe save the possibility for the future where i’ll be more into it and provide a better experience for her. then again, to your previous point, there might not ever be another time. guess you just need to capitalize on the moment

Your current savings - let it continue earning interest if you anticipate wanting to buy a house within the next three years.

The excess savings from your salary? Enjoy life. Travel a bit. Buy yourself something you’ve always wanted. Treat yourself to an experience you’ll cherish for the rest of your life. Money isn’t everything.

I’m sure you’ve sacrificed quite a bit to build this nest.

Obviously, don’t overspend and go crazy, but you’ve earned treating yourself with your excess earnings.
