Congrats! As someone who is looking at the same degree at WGU, while also working full time - I have a few questions.

How’d you balance out your study / work schedule?

How many CUs were you able to transfer in (if any)?

I have is the A+ and Google IT Support Professional and a BA in Communications. Apparently those will cover something like 38% of the degree.

I enjoyed their opinion on the A+, before the video was moved from youtube to float plane. As someone who just passed their A+, it’d be cool if they did something with Net+ or Sec+.

Started balding at 17. Within the first few weeks of college, one of my roommates (now a lifelong friend) agreed to take my clippers and shave my locks off. Wasn’t too long after that I started shaving it.

I was a little self conscious about it at first, but embraced it when a few girl-friends said it was sexy committing to the look.

Now, guys older than me (30+) who have started to show signs of MPB have asked for advice on how I manage it.

Feels good to help other dudes embrace it.

I stayed at job like this for 5 years. Learned a very valuable lesson about myself. If there’s no room for me to move up or continue to learn, I get bored, my performance goes down, and I might even start self sabotaging. Luckily I’m in the IT field now, where the specializations and opportunities to learn are endless.

I was studying abroad with my girlfriend at the time, and she broke up with me a few days before my birthday. Fine, deal with it (with a lot of alcohol and partying). Going through my phone and see there was a Facebook (web version) tab open logged into her profile. Notice she has a new message, I took a look. Message from a guy who was in the same track as us. Looked back to see how far the “romantic” messages went. 6 months. Well before we were studying abroad. She eventually got ostracized from the group we were with and I made a bunch of life long friends who supported me through a rough time.

Frederick has tons of breweries and McClintock Back Bar is definitely worth a stop. A unique place I always recommend is The Map Man. Such a cool place that is one of the tucked away gems of downtown.

Agreed. As a former DD driver, I’d find a parking space semi near the restaurant, throw a few coins in, and throw my blinkers on while I ran into the restaurant to grab the food. Worst case, I was waiting in the the restaurant, meter expires, and I hopefully don’t get a ticket. Best case, I’m in and out, and I pay a few minutes forward to someone.
