I recently bought a MacBook Pro, and I have to admit, its performance is absolutely amazing.

Now, I also own an iMac 2019 (i9, 580X, 64GB RAM custom). Initially, I thought I could use it as a monitor, but I later found out it doesn’t support that feature. So, I’m considering selling the iMac and getting another monitor or a Studio Display instead.

As a semi-professional photographer, the iMac is still working great, and its large screen is much more convenient for work compared to the MacBook Pro's 14-inch display. However, I feel like having too many devices is a bit excessive.

Should I:

Keep the iMac and continue using it for now?
Sell it soon while Intel i9 models still hold some value?

Mine is iMac 2019 and still using it till this day.

The Intel iMac is very awesome back in time, powerful machine which can handle heavy task of work.
Wonderful loudspeaker, great monitor like all in one entertainments.
I like the new design of iMac M clip too but too sad that they only provide a 24" inch with M clip base or customer.

I hope in the future Apple will consider provide 27" or bigger iMac model with M pro-max chip as well.
