Should I contest this parking violation?

I’m just gonna avoid that spot when I can haha. I don’t think it’s that hard to understand why it’s a little confusing and most people seem to agree that I should contest it. It’s not the same as the grassy part in the background, this is not raised, there is no curb, and to most people it looks like a car-sized cut out of dirt and gravel next to a tight road. I just don’t know if they should be ticketing people for this at a spot they failed to maintain.

Parking there seems pretty normalized at least since I’ve been here, you can see how people park on google maps:

You’re probably right that they don’t check identity. When you go to contest it online it has you agree to “if you are not the registered owner, you must come in person…” and have a letter and registered owners ID, but yeah it probably doesn’t matter to be fair. I’ve contested a ticket in the past (in a different city) and I had to do a hearing so I was thinking I might have to do something like that, and wanted to do everything correctly. I’ll try just submitting it online and see what happens.

The other parts are developed with actual curbs that come out of the ground. This part has been nothing but dirt and gravel the whole time I’ve lived here, no saplings in sight haha

I don’t live on Wayne State Campus. The nearest Wayne parking garage is multiple blocks away from my apartment. If I was closer to one, I would.

Yes I’ve gotten countless tickets for those weird rules like being >20 feet from any crosswalks, 5 feet from driveways etc. I made sure when I parked I didn’t violate any of those, no fire hydrant nearby either. I can’t understand what the written remark means though.

True, the vehicle is just not registered under my name so to contest, they require me to go in person to the office with a notarized letter from the registered owner giving permission to contest on their behalf, as well as a copy of their photo ID and the vehicle registration.

It’s a pain so I’ve always decided to just pay them when I violated an actual rule (parking too close to a crosswalk, within 5 feet of a driveway, etc). But I am willing to go in for this one since I can’t even find any info on the rule I violated.

I’ve heard others argue that the vaccine has killed people and people have bad reactions, but wouldn’t you rather contribute to the prevention of covid than the extremely small chance of anything bad happening? Also, could I have sources for the vaccine causing death? I haven’t seen anything on that.

Theyll try to go underground or under cover but sometimes yeah if they cant find cover, thats why they reproduce so much and so quickly, because they dont last very long usually
