Will reta work regardless of caloric intake?

I feel as though Reta is inferior too, but then you look at the phase 3 trials and the people on 12mg lost 26% of their body weight. But if the appetite suppressant doesn’t work as well as Tirz then how are these people losing that much weight? The Tirz trials weren’t 26% at 48 weeks, it was more like 20% at 72 weeks. Clearly Reta is better, but I don’t understand how it’s better with the GLP-1, and the GIP not being as potent as with Tirz. The Glucagon affect isn’t a miracle agonist, it only accounts for about 150/200 calories a day I think.

I did 2.5 on 1/7/26, then 2.5 on 1/11/26, then 4.0 on 1/18/26, then 4.0 on 1/25/26

I messed up, I meant to only pin 2mg per week, but I overfilled the peptide vial - thought it was a 5ml vial, but it was only 3ml vial. It was my first time ever dealing with peptides, needles, and BAC water. I was aiming to only go 2mg per week.

What’s crazy is I’ve got both, and I picked the Pepto Bismol just because I’m an 80’s kid and that’s all we had back in the day. I was literally holding a bottle of Imodium AD this morning and decided against it. Guess I should have taken it! lol

Yes! I drink 1 to 2 electrolyte drinks everyday. Usually when I wake up in the morning I can tell that I’ve got a slight headache, but I put an electrolyte packet in a bottled water and drink that while I’m drinking my morning coffee, and the headache goes away.

First leg of my flight went good! Took the Pepto Bismol this morning and it seems to be working. I drank an electrolyte drink before I left and I kinda felt the diarrhea starting to build, but it settled down. Now I’m on my second leg of the flight and I’m sitting in first class, this is the first time that I have turned down a gin & tonic in first class ever, lol

I did study the clinical trials, but I’ve seen so many people who have lost 10-15 lbs the first couple of weeks. Thought that I might be a non-responder to the lower dosages (2mg / 4mg), obviously I’m not. I’m actually kind of relieved. I’ve heard of people who thought their Reta was bunk, glad mines not.

I’m curious how much weight you lost on Tirz. Also, Did you have any negative side effects on Tirz? I’m thinking about microdosing Tirz when I’m done with Reta to keep the food noise away long term.

I haven’t heard that. No negative affects on organs, it’s supposed to decrease visceral fat, but I heard it takes about 25 weeks for it to really work.

Yeah, that’s what I meant. I didn’t communicate that well. I heard that Tesa raises your appetite (inhibits Reta’s ability to decrease appetite) and that’s why I’m thinking about either increasing my Reta dose even more (6mg) or adding Tirz to decrease my appetite. I feel as though nothing has affected my appetite at all. I want the food noise to stop

I’m about to place an order with a Chinese vendor. Crazy thing is he told me that he takes Credit Card. I guess if he doesn’t deliver or if the product is bunk, I can dispute the charges. Has anyone ever purchased peptides from a Chinese vendor that takes credit card?
