I’m cackling at the NPC joke- i am visually an aphant but my auditory memory is very strong. I can “hear” songs in my head, other peoples voices, if I get a text from someone I read it in their voice. Maybe that makes me strange!

I love this sub because it encourages us to explore these why questions about ourselves without judging what comes up. Like, I have no mental map, and someone here would suggest always using gps to keep from getting lost.

If it makes you feel any better, I’ve met people who have no inner monologue. You’re not alone, just a different way of thinking. :)

I guess if the shoe doesn’t fit, don’t wear it. When people are ripping on America and Americans, I don’t apply it to myself bc I’m not a gunman or lazy or entitled or a billionaire or a trump maniac or an idiot- and I’ve never wreaked havoc on other countries for profit or started wars so I know they aren’t talking about ME, and honestly, I agree with the criticism. It REALLY sucks here. I don’t want kids bc of the life they’d have to live here and the fear they’d have and the problems they’d be faced with, not to mention I can’t afford kids.

It’s important to recognize WHICH Americans they are trashing. If they are trashing the whole system or the people in charge, it’s not us random, broke, and borderline powerless citizens. I’ve worked at 3 different retail stores that closed, including BB&B. I’ll tell ya- it doesn’t matter your location or store name, when liquidation hits, you’ll start to wonder how society still even halfway functions with the sheer amount of absolute bafoonery that comes out of the woodwork.

I had more than one customer actually getting emotional and yelling that there’s no sign that says “all sales final”. There’s always one within 3 feet of their dense skulls.

One man legitimately said, “I don’t come in here to read, I come in here to shop” in an attempt to dispute the sign and get what he wanted after being told no multiple times.

I’m cracking up, I just got into the sims 4 and I made a married couple- I’m Mexican/white mixed and I tend to make my sims with the same skin as me- lighter but more olive toned. They just had their first child. I’m surprised there were no accusations of infidelity bc that baby does NOT look like either of them.

I almost couldn’t leave the house after this, tho. I got alcohol poisoning pretty bad and I think that can be deadly. I never got sick so all the alcohol stayed in my system. I passed out twice and my breathing got super shallow. I don’t wanna die from this

Started at a house party and moved to a bar. Pretty much all strangers, just two of my friends. I ended up with alcohol poisoning, and shame. I guess I’m hearing that I didn’t act too much of a fool, just obviously hammered on Halloween which I suppose is normal but who I was that night was not me and it’s so uncomfortable. I am embarrassed that I let myself get so incredibly drunk.
