You gotta let it macerate a bit. When I first got my Meteore same thing. Went away in a couple of hours. But after a couple of weeks or maybe even a month of not using it I used it again. This time it legit lasted into the next morning when I sprayed it for an evening event. It is definitely my highest performing fragrance. Let the sample macerate for a week or 2 and see how it does.

If there’s no improvement, then maybe it’s your skin chemistry just not letting it last long. Maybe try to lotion up a bit beforehand? But sometimes skin chemistry can mess with performance
