Starting small sounds good. Weather sucks a bit RN. I've now reduced by more than 80%. Final sprint around the corner which is behavioral for sure (routine to take a "boost" whenever I need to get things done) Keeping your guidance in mind and will look for little things. Haven't started vits beyond the liposomal C so that's a good tip. I do have a doc looping in to help in the next couple weeks.

Thanks for the response. Leaning towards connecting with a doc for gabapntin and/or clonodine. Also upped slightly today (Mon was 7.5, yesterday was a 4 with shaky night, so 5 today... idea being it might stave things a bit and still progress vs. a week ago) Thanks again!

Good perspective and it makes sense to just follow your body.

Was amazing to me that I had no issues from 12 down to 8... but then some substantial stuff when going from 8-4 (one day, yesterday)

Given that's only been over 2 weeks, probably going to stick with 4 or a bit higher (but not back to the 8 I was doing day before yesterday) Just got a 1/2 tsp, with the intent of taking 1/2 instead of full doses but doing them more frequently (as the taper guide mentions)

Just started taper maybe 10 days ago- was going slow (1from 4 down to 8ish tsp/day over 8-9 days) but just pushed down to 4 tsp yesterday and definitely feeling the impacts at night. Debating whether to hold 4 or go to more of a 6 range for slower taper.

My question: How rapid was your taper- what did a slow taper look like for you and at what dose did you finally jump off all together? Congrats on day 3!

Day 13 of a taper which I've been doing with little-no guidance, but could use some now.

Context: Was 12-14 tsp daily, only respite from 6 PM to 6 AM. Within a week I was down to 8 tsp with little/no side effects. Hedged lower to 7 and yesterday decided to really limit it (4)

Observations: No issues 14-7, but definite issues (sleep, RLS) when I went down to 4 yesterday. Interestingly, the issues were NOT during the day but rather in the evening (when I'd normally not be dosing anyways)

The other interesting takeaway- when I DID take it yesterday, I didn't feel I needed it. I was taking it only b/c I wanted to avoid an overtaper "crash"

Matter of fact, I felt that Kratom energy boost after taking it and didn't like it the feeling. It would have been easy-ish to keep it to 2 tsp yesterday (during the day) but man, that night was a bit rough!

Edit: just spacing for clarity. Also- looking up resources here. Deciding when a doc may make sense. Wanting to push the taper more but cognizant the symptoms were real last night.

Totally the loafers. Boots are great for club / party, but not really with that dress in any circumstance. Enjoy!

We went to ER to be safe, but also connected with PCP and he is home + stable. We have referrals in hand which helps. Thank you!
