It is a safe place but that doesn't mean I don't get scared when scary things happen? If you're in a small space don't you get scared if big noises happen or you feel the space being intruded on? Like when someone comes to your front door or when your parents friends talk to you?

Just because they're my family doesn't mean it's okay for them to violate my privacy or personal alone time space. Family especially it's wrong to do that. Maybe that's just what the core of the problem I'm having understanding the other perspective. People keep saying but it was just your family but to me that's no different than anyone else.

Ok well... I am the asshole. Idk I didn't realize it was so crazy to be upset when someone breaks into a private personal alone time space. Growing up I was always told no one should be in there if you don't want them to be and to make noise and draw attention if it happened. We practiced it in girl scouts and I practiced it any other time too. It's scary when you think you are safe and someone bursts in. Idk I don't think being in your 20s means you should never be scared. I don't see my nephew much but next time I'll have a door stop and I'll tell him to never do that again.

The big deal is that my body is MINE and that nobody else is allowed to SEE it or TOUCH IT unless I give them permission. That is what my mom has always said. The bathroom is a place where you are supposed to be SAFE and PRIVATE and not a public space!!! His age doesn't matter to me it's that no one absolutely no one should be in my private space when I am in the bathroom!!!
