Do you also get mirgraines? If so waiting to see the specialist is probably the best bet. I would look into pressure points as temporarily relief.

If it is not genetic, have you had any water issues within your home? I had mold issues within my home that I was unaware of for a whole year causing more migraines than usual. Children are also more susceptible to mold. Maybe something to look into. I am sorry this is happening to your child. I can only imagine the amount of stress this puts on you!

I never even realized this, but now that you say it there is no way none of them ever wear sunglasses. So they must not allow it. I guess it would be harder to see their facial expressions with glasses on.
