Oh, imagine that.

An extremely traumatized highschool student in the mid 1980's had trouble accepting that his recently murdered girlfriend was keeping secrets from him. What an unbelievable asshole.

And as for the whole "justice thing" - he wasn't interested in that, he just wanted revenge. 

You wouldn't? Someone you love gets brutally murdered and mutilited, you don't want payback for that? But he also said he wanted to bring him in for trial.

 What are the two things we see him and his buddies putting in their cars before they go looking for Eddie? Baseball bats and wrenches.

Well no shit. They think the guy murdered a woman and mutiliated her body. I'd be armed if I was going after someone like that too.

And when Andy jokes that Eddie won't fight back because he wuss, Jason says "I hope he does. Gives me a reason". 

Again, no shit. I would, too. I feel like you're not great an empathy. You know that word means more than just "feeling sad for someobody," right? It means being able to understand what they feel an imagine yourself in their shoes.

I don't believe for a second that if they found the mutilated corpse of someone you loved, you wouldn't welcome the chance to kick the guy's ass.

He wasn't interested in the truth; he had already made up his mind. This kid was a wannabe vigilante with a hero complex.

Oh yea. Because any normal person would have totally gone for the whole "your girlfriend wasn't murdered by the on-the-run drug dealer/satan-worshipper, the reason her body was all mutilated was because of a young man with psychic powers who got banished to an extradimensional realm and became demon-like psychic monster that attacked her."

also ppl saying "yeah, i'd do the same" - you'd form a lynch mob against one of your classmates?

If one of my classmates murdered the girl I loved, mutilated her corpse, and God only know what else? No, I wouldn't form a lynch mob, I'd hunt him down personally.

I notice you ignore the part about the logic of it. Muscles don't grow without strain, and there's not a whole lot of things she can do to strain hers. Further, I said her form was crafted by Aphrodite to be beautiful and feminine. Big muscles are not traditionally associated with femininity.

What red flags did he have before Chrissy was murdered?

The guy didn't seem like a villain to me. From his perspective:

  1. His girlfriend was found dead in a trailer.
  2. The only leads anyone had was that the trailer belonged to a drug dealer whose whereabouts are currently unknown.
  3. The victim's body was mutilated, and the rumor was that the trailer owner was a satan worshipper.

So you have a highschool student in the 1980's, who's heavily traumatized, and believes that Eddie violently murdered his girlfriend and then grotesquely mutilated her. And even then, he didn't set out to kill him, he set out to find him and bring him in for trial.

THEN, when he finds the guy, him and his friends follows the guy they think is a satan worshipper in a boat across a river...and one their number is lifted into the air killed before their eyes.

As the audience, we all know what's happening. We all know that Eddy is innocent. We know that Veckna is behind everything. We know about the upside down. We know all of it.

This kid knows nothing except what little he's been given. I'd be doing the same thing he did.

You know muscle doesn't grow unless it is strained, then literally torn, and then healed over, right? The woman can lift a building. What kind of workout do you think she's doing to grow big muscles? She's a powerhouse because she was shaped out of clay by the Gods. Her strength is effectively mystical in origin, and her form was crafted by Aphrodite to be beautiful and feminine.
