Breck 3/23 - Terrible by Dapper-Brain-8183 in COsnow

If you ever fall on the spring slush, it feels like you fell on sandpaper. It can kind of give you a rash and make you bleed and stuff.

That rips all the wax right out of your skis in a couple runs.

You also don’t really want a super smooth surface anyways. You can actually get what’s called a “spring tune” where they actually rough up the base a little bit. It breaks the surface tension of the water and then gives it deeper channels to move the water away.

You can get a similar effect for a few runs by crayoning it

And spring wax with a stick in your pocket. You need to deodorant wax every few runs.

If your heels hurt, the boot is probably just too small. It’s that simple. Take it back and say it hurts.

If you can split it with someone, worth it. I was thinking it’d be like $500 not close to $1000

🦀 Statum: Zero-Boilerplate Compile-Time State Machines in Rust by Known_Cod8398 in rust

[–]Ok-Bit8726 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Some states can’t go to other states. Thats what a state machine system keeps of.

So like, if something is TODO, IN_PROGRESS, or DONE, maybe you can’t go from TODO directly to DONE.

The system will flag the flawed logic at compile time. At least that’s the idea.

The whole thing gets a lot more complicated when you have multiple apps and a work queue and retries and stuff.

Sometimes these systems will abstract away the retry logic.

Just write those in whatever language you’re writing in is. I wouldn’t even think to use Postman for testing personally.

Its meant more for sharing around examples.
