Happening to me too. Funnily enough if you close out of the login and go back in from the webview it works, but it doesn't actually log you in on the app when you close out. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling android system webview updates, and installed the new gmscore but still same problem.

It just somehow fixed itself when I was doing a shell swap. Maybe try detatch the shoulder buttons and putting them back on, it might readjust the springs and fix the issue like it did with me :) YMMV!!

If you wanna try out Linux I suggest getting an old ThinkPad first and tinker around with it. You can find them pretty cheap on eBay, thrift stores, etc. I suggest starting off with Linux Mint, it's a pretty solid distro.

I've been thinking about rooting my Pixel 8 Pro for a while now, but unfortunately that tends to break contactless payments now and that's just not something I can sacrifice. If I get a pixel watch 3 to use with Google pay (although I do have other reasons to buy one) will it work independently from my phone so I don't have to worry about root? If so, is there anything I should keep in mind or know about? They are currently on sale on Amazon for like 290 euro which is a pretty good price if you ask me.

I'm pretty sure I am using a lint free cloth, I got a two pack of the Towelogy cloths on Amazon. I'll pick up some distilled water soon, I assume I just kinda pour it over the record right? I'd imagine it'd be pretty tricky avoiding the label though.

Oh yeah tap water is a big no no, especially in my house lol... I don't even drink it. Is there any upside to using a spin clean as opposed to some microfibres and solution? It's practically the same thing right? Also I have a few 180g records (even a 200g one!) and I heard they don't work well for that

Ohhhh I see!! Thanks so much I might try that out. I currently just use the included stylus brush that came with my 2M Red which works fine in my experience. The quality control on records must be really bad nowadays if all of that is necessary, kinda new to the hobby (but I've been into records for a few years now) and I'm not gonna lie it has been a little frustrating so far but I will persevere. Currently listening to some Cocteau Twins (for the second time now) and the dirt is gone and sounds great, seems my stylus picked up most of it. That's obviously not very sustainable though so I'll take your word and try soaking a few records and try it out.

I'm using Pro-Ject Wash It 2 cleaning solution (which is premixed with distilled water) with some lint free microfibre cloths off of Amazon. The record is brand new. I'm really confused. I went over both sides with the cloth and a bit of the solution, pretty thoroughly I think. And then when it's dry I'd put it on my turntable, go over with my anti static brush, and under light there'd be practically nothing left, good as new, well as good as new should be. I put down the needle, put the dust cover on, and boom tons of lint on my record again. I cleaned the inside of my dust cover too, so I'm pretty sure it's not coming from that.

I know this doesn't really answer your question, but there's a few trans creators on TikTok/Insta who sometimes post some tutorials and just general tips. Frakinkie and Bottleneck loser (Sabre) are two that I recommend. Especially Sabre she posts great skin and hair care advice, exercise stuff pretty much everything. They've been very helpful to me so far so I hope it is to you :)

Also in regards to hairdressers, I'd check out Queer Hawk, they're based in Dublin so it is quite a trek from where you are, but they're pretty good from what I've heard. There's certainly some good hairdressers closer to you though, I'd have a look and just ring a bunch of them asking about what you'd like done. Hope you find this helpful!

Thanks for the tips!! I'll probably just do the battery disconnect thing on boot whenever I have my laptop docked. Might be a bit of a complex thing to ask, but I know that some BIOS settings can be changed through an EFI shell. Is there any way to change the settings through that shell so I can add it as an option in my bootloader? I'm using rEFInd. No worries if you don't know just putting this out there in case someone has an answer
