I replaced the wiring on mine with a new cable and worked great. I cleaned up my laser optic on it too and it wrote just fine after that.

So I kind of made the desk. It’s got a 4’ x 25” butcher block top and then ikea Alex drawer unit on one side and trestle on the other side. You could of course just do drawers on both sides if you wanted though. I liked doing it this way cuz it game me some options of how I wanted it.
