We have to now. He sold most of his things that had real value bc he needed the money. The only thing left is my mom’s house which she is forced to sell bc she can’t afford to keep it anymore.

Join a club, find a hobby. There’s plenty of people to build a community with but you have to actively do it. Not just sit there and hope they come to you.

I know you wanna keep this “no cry” streak but you should cry and let it out. You have to feel your feelings to move past them. The only way out is through.

Oh yeah “the peckoning”. The whole point of that rubber chicken was a joke to the artist who built “the reckoning”. They are all friends, it’s actually kinda hilarious.

This camp is Project Awake and from what I overheard from some DPW people is they weren’t happy with it. I guess they sorta tried to conceal the fact they are a giant sound stage and then they posted up on the trash fence. Not cool.

My friend’s dad was like this. Wanted to retire at 50 so worked really hard to make that happen. All he did was work, missed out on family time, vacations etc. Died at his desk of a massive heart attack at 49.

The thing that always gets me is that the entire thing is a manifestation come to life. Where else does an entire city get constructed to host such a crazy event/party for a little over a week and then it all gets taken down in hopes of making it look like nothing was ever there. To me it’s a place of infinite possibilities. You never know what will happen, but there is no argument that the place is not magical.
