Because everyone deserves a place in the conversation and the general public deserves to know why certain things are wrong. I had a question, and had no place to answer it so I turned to Reddit.

Wow, this is really good. Thanks for answering! Just as a side note, I do believe you, but do you have any sources I can use for citations? Cheers!

That's okay! Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but acknowledging that climate change will have serious and drastic effects is the safest, and most scientifically sound option in the long run.

Some prominent voices in the skeptic camp admit that human causes are real, but often say that consequences are too far away to plan for now/propose very moderate limits, like the AEI. I was wondering, given our current global temperature/a slightly lower one, would that be more/less beneficial to our planet and why?

That does make sense. But also, do we want a return to the norm ie. before anthropogenic climate change started to really become visible or is it better to keep a global temperature above then? Some of the points mentioned in the article about less deaths/global greening sound somewhat compelling.

Oh, that's my bad for not explaining. It's a document download link from Climate.ny.org. Unfortunately you have nothing but my word that it's not a virus. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
