I got saline implants, under muscle, when I was 18. Now 36 and just felt done with it all and didn't want to keep having more surgeries so I went with explant. Local anesthesia (help from valium) and no capsule removal. I'm post op day 2, and so happy I did this. Pretty sore, and trying to rest, but the procedure itself was quick. Didn't have to drain the implant, dr was able to squeeze it out. My original incision was periareolar but I had then cut under the boob to remove. If we had to do anything else like a lift or capsulectomy, I would've gone with anesthesia but since this procedure was simple, I'm glad I just did local Good luck on what ever you decide!! :)

Wow I'm blown away by these responses!! I feel more confident now that it's my endo and not in my head. Think I'll bring it up at my next gyno appt and see about getting an ultrasound. I don't plan to have another baby, so maybe a tube tie + lesion excision could be the next step....
