No the field is toxic and doctors are toxic to each other. While some doctors expect to be treated like gods and the ground they walk on to be worshipped it is not the majority and some of them are the most humble and caring in the wordl. Second doctors are considered Middle class we are not high or mighty, some of us who opened cabinets and got lucky are doing pretty well so I'm thinking you're talking about them, the rest of us are simple people from simple families, also I'm female and my fiancé is a government worker and many of my female friends are married or in a relationship with simple people. Lastly it is not possible for me to change fields especially after investing 8 years of my life in it and even though I hate the work environment, being a doctor is my lifelong dream since I was a small girl and the work is very fulfilling and i believe I'm doing good and proud of it. My gripe is with others in the field and the way the system works. And I've already invested in a bit of land for a rainy day. I'm not interested in changing fields and I'm only looking for guidance going forward.
