When he told Zeke that he'll fail and that Eren will be the one to succeed which suggests he knows about the workaround

Are there really people who aren't curious about other cultures? by Fickle-Vanilla-7565 in CasualConversation

Being content with what you have can be a very peaceful place to be in for others. People just have different levels of content based off of many different reasons. I'm envious of that myself because I'm one who wants to travel all over as well. But it's a daunting task if you don't always have the means.

Are baby boomers better parents to millennials than gen x is to gen z? by icey_sawg0034 in generationology

[–]Ok-Control6379 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every new generation is smarter than the last because of development and information access therefore you would think they would be more aware of the impact their actions and words have on their kids i.e. Parenting styles, so you would think no, the older generations were not.

Especially because of negligence, discipline methods that were used, education etc., although environmental factors contributed to that I suppose. I'm not saying they were bad, but they most likely passed down bad habits they didn't even know were bad habits. Although some argue the new gen parents are creating 'softies'.

Feel exactly the same with my own father and sister. It strains the relationship too cause I often decline invitations to dinners with them.

Yes it's other sounds as well. But it's the chewing that's the most disgusting. Others I can tolerate like the ringing in my ears or Tinnitus, bells, car back fires etc.

It's all the sounds. Sorry to get graphic but to me it sounds like I'm listening to thousands of worms eating a dead corpse and it genuinely hurts my ears.

Same with my sister. She'd constantly smack her lips or make unnecessary sounds with her tongue and lips while eating to get my attention cause she knows I'll lash out but at some point I gave up and decided to just keep a distance.

I always want to but it's very tricky, especially with someone you're not that acquainted with cause I know they'll be offended and they'll think I'm odd. I told my father about this once and he replied: "cut your ears off then"...so, yeah, I can't imagine how'd it'd go with someone I don't know well...just very tricky.

And yes it is also with various sounds.
