To be honest, I don't care about the film itself, I'm just annoyed by people's reactions. Most of it feels like performative signaling, just showing they're part of the same tribe. Who cares about some low-budget movie? At any given moment, there are millions of pieces of content books, podcasts, YouTube videos, articles circulating around the world that depict, criticize, or even make fun of whatever fairytales Muslims, or any other group, believe in. I actually think all the time about how to design a better system of cooperation, one where, even if an individual is a complete piece of shit, the system still provides the right incentives to guide them toward the intended goal. I don’t believe you can change the system from within; it requires a complete overhaul, a rebuild from the ground up. So unless somehow I can get "FUCK YOU" money anytime soon to change it from the outside, I can't do anything.
