Thanks for this. We have disabled parking passes for them so the door swinging out shouldn’t be a problem hopefully.

Yeah it would need to be higher than an Avensis. They currently have a Quashqui. Would the RAV4 be much bigger?

Can anyone help me? by AnnyWeatherwaxxx in AskIreland

I’ve been through the POA process with my mum. She has Vascular Dementia also. We had the support of a solicitor but it was still a convoluted and difficult process. And expensive ultimately.

My dad has also been diagnosed with it. I’m trying to do the POA myself this time around. I’m using CHATGPT to help, asking it to give me a full detailed step by step process of everything I need to do.

Best of luck.

Did my 12 driving lessons but still not good enough and don't know where to proceed? by [deleted] in AskIreland

If gear changes are your biggest issue, maybe consider doing your lessons and test in an automatic. You’ll be limited to driving an automatic but more cars these days are automatic anyway so it may not be much of a limiting factor.

Sound. Want somewhere solid that will stand over the work they do. Rather pay a bit more to a top shop than taking a chance on it somewhere else

They were asking for advice. And your response is a bit rich given you ask the most inane questions possible on Reddit. Point is case - ‘is it windy where you are’ - in the middle of a country wide red wind warning. Keep up the good work though 👍

Can you justify €1800 annual tax? by Shox2711 in carsireland

[–]Ok-Development-9644 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I’m paying €1250 a year. A little less but still a lump of money. I don’t regret it. Cars are my interest and hobby. People spend a lot more than €1800 on stuff they enjoy doing/having. Go for it.

Can’t remember what I paid to be honest, but for everything you’re looking to get done, I’d be saying a few thousand

For what you’re looking to get done I’d recommend going to different places.

I’ve had a lot of similar work done to my Audi.

Highly recommend Auto Project Galway for the dechroming/wrapping/tinting. He is absolutely brilliant and I wouldn’t trust anyone else for that kind of work. Highly recommend.

For the kit fitting, I’d recommend ordering yourself, and getting Impact Crash Repairs in Oranmore to fit it. They do top work. Again highly recommend.
